No stress! That’s how Matt Delgado wants you to feel as your VA Loan Specialist. As a Navy Veteran with over 20 years of service, he has had the opportunity to be both a leader and a follower and work in a wide range of areas and environments. Thus, he’s been fortunate to learn how to handle stressful situations and appreciate the good things in life. Primarily, Matt wants to make your home buying experience the best one possible, so that you reflect back on it as one of YOUR easy, good things in life.
There’s a whole lot that Matt has accomplished during his time in the Navy starting with receiving his BS in Economics for the U.S. Naval Academy. He went on to earn his MBA from American Military University, and his MA in Maritime Policy from the Peruvian Naval War College. As Matt looks toward a new endeavor in the mortgage industry, he is excited for the success stories that will be a part of making Hawaii’s Veterans homeowners.
As a Hawaii resident for over 10 years, Matt enjoys beach activities, hiking, grilling and fishing with his family. He also enjoys a good video game session.
An Interesting Fact About Matt:
At the age of 16 while working as a courtesy clerk (bagger) for Albertson's Grocery Store, he was named Employee of the Year for 1994. He had just started working there in November and the plaque he received had his name misspelled.
